Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
  • Delivery is free of charge anywhere in South Africa for orders over R2000
  • All orders under R2000 will incur a delivery fee of R150
  • Delivery is subject to change if you are staying outside the predefined area
How do I track my order?
  • You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order ships.
  • You can track your order by clicking “View Order Status” in your email confirmation, or,
  • if your order was placed using an existing account, you can view your order status through your online portal.
How long until I receive my order?
  • Once payment has been reflected please allow up to 24 hours for processing before shipping.
  • Expect 5-8 business days for delivery once your order has been dispatched.
  • Delivery length may be subject to change if you are outside the predefined area.
Where do we ship to?
  • We only ship within the Republic of South Africa.
  • We do not ship internationally.
What shipping methods are available?
  • We currently offer a standard shipping rate of 3-5 business days.
What shipping carrier will be used for delivery?
  • RAM will be used for all deliveries.
Returns
Want an exchange?
  1. Log an exchange request online by logging in at www.tedbaker.co.za/pages/returns
  2. Our Customer Care team will arrange for the product to be collected via courier and send you the exchange unit free of charge.
  3. The item must be placed in the bag provided by the courier along with the original swing tags, your completed returns document and the original invoice.
  4. You may return an unwanted product to us, provided it:
  • is undamaged
  • is unworn
  • has the original price tags still attached
  • was purchased online www.tedbaker.co.za

Once your return is inspected and validated, our Customer Care team will send you a voucher for the original purchase price of the product within 8 days of return, or a refund if requested. We reserve the right to decline a return if the item is damaged, missing accessories, or not in resalable condition.

Exchange and return policy

At Ted Baker, we strive to make online shopping a smooth and hassle-free experience. We understand that buying online can be tricky without having seen or tried on the product. With that in mind, we happily accept returns and exchanges based on a few T&Cs listed below:

Refunds/exchanges

Goods may be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided you have the original proof of purchase/receipt and the item is in the original, unworn condition. Any free promotional gift must also be included in the return. Items bought on SALE may only be returned within 14 days of purchase.

If you require a refund, you must log a return within 30 days of purchase. The goods must be in the original, unworn condition. Refunds will be processed by the same method as the original transaction (i.e. card or cash) and please note when applying for a refund, please use the same card you purchased with. If you paid by EFT, please inform our staff so your refund may be processed efficiently.

You can exchange goods within 30 days of purchase. The goods must be in the original, unused condition.

Refund payments can take up to 10 working days to reflect.

6-month return for faulty goods

If the product is damaged due to a manufacturing defect during normal wear within 6 months since purchase, we will offer an exchange or a gift card to the value of your order provided you bring proof of purchase.

We will not exchange any items if:

  • damaged by abuse or negligence (exposure to high heat, sharp objects, etc.)
  • they were not cared for according to the wash/care instruction labels.

Please note that the lifespan of any item is unique to each customer and their usage/wear. Damage due to normal wear & tear will not be replaced.

Returns policy

The original receipt must be included with all returned items. If you don’t have your receipt, we cannot credit your purchase and the current price will apply. Items must be unworn, in their original condition, and have all tags and labels intact.

For hygiene reasons, masks, sports masks, hijabs, swimwear and underwear (excluding bras) cannot be returned or exchanged.

How are refunds processed?
  1. Products will not be accepted for a refund or exchange after 30 days, unless due to a manufacturing fault. SALE items will only be accepted for refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase.
  2. We are committed to processing returns and refunds as quickly as possible - EFT refunds can take up to 5 working days after receipt of items, and payment gateway refunds between 7-10 working days.
Faulty or defective product?

Which items cannot be exchanged or refunded?
  • Items marked as “SALE” may not be refunded, after the cooling off period of 14 days but we will gladly exchange the product at the sale price paid.
  • Items purchased at or through another supplier
  • Product without original price tags attached
  • Product that has been altered, washed, or abused
  • Gift Cards
How do I return an item I received as a gift?

You may return an unwanted product to us, provided it:

  • is undamaged
  • is unworn
  • has the original price tags still attached

  • Accompanies the original gift- or purchase receipt
Orders
How can I check my order status?
  • You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order ships.
  • You can track your order by clicking “View Order Status” in your email confirmation, or,
  • if your order was placed using an existing account, you can view your order status through your online portal.
Can I cancel my order?
  • Unfortunately, once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled.
  • If you no longer want the item, please wait until you have received your order and then follow our return or exchange instructions found here.
Once I have placed an order, can I change my order?
  • Unfortunately, once an order is placed it cannot be modified.
  • If you no longer want the product, please wait until you have received the order shipment and then follow our return instructions found here for a refund
Can I update my shipping address after I place an order?
  • Unfortunately, once an order is placed the shipping address cannot be changed.
Delivery
What can I do if I receive a defective product?
  • If there are any concerns regarding the quality or description discrepancies of any items, please log a return for the order here, or

What if my order is missing something?
  • If there are any discrepancies with your order, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving it.

  • We will arrange for the collection/delivery of these items at no extra cost.

What payment methods can I use?
  • Paystack: Debit or credit cards (Visa or Mastercard), EFT via OZOW, Masterpass enabled apps, Snapscan.
  • Interest-free installments via PayJustNow: Visa or Mastercard
When am I charged for my order?
  • Your credit or debit card will be charged when you complete your checkout.
What can I do if my payment is declined?
  • If your payment is declined, please double-check that the information entered is correct and if the problem persists, we recommend reaching out to your bank.
  • Please ensure that the billing address provided for the order matches the billing address associated with your card.
I did not make a purchase but my card has been charged
  • Please contact your bank to dispute the unauthorised charge.
Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes we do! Currently we offer digital gift cards ranging from R1000 to R5000 to spoil that special someone, friend or loved one.

Can I use a Gift Card to purchase items online?

Yes, we accept digital gift cards purchased through the www.tedbaker.co.za website, these are redeemable online only. We also offer physical gift cards, these are only redeemable instore. The amounts accepted for digital purchases range from R1000 to R5000
